If it’s Friday, it must be Bootleg City!

Here’s an interesting little stack of live tunes that I had forgotten about owning — Mike & The Mechanics, live in 1999, touring behind the album alternately known as Mike & The Mechanics or M6.

Yes, that’s right. Six (and there’s more). One of these days I’ll do a Mike & The Mechanics Idiot’s Guide…but don’t worry, it won’t be for awhile.

Anyway, I digress. This performance was captured after M6 came out, but before vocalist Paul Young’s untimely death (no, not that Paul Young — this Paul Young). They do pretty much all the Mechanics hits you’d expect, plus entries from all the members’ other gigs.

Like I said, an interesting little stack of tunes. Nothing you’d want to pay for, I suspect, but then again, you don’t have to.

Download! Enjoy! See you here next week!
