I’m now officially finished chronicling the 2010s. Four mixes, 118 songs, 109 different artists. (And I still had a couple dozen songs that didn’t make the cut.) If I were to break these down by year, there would be a noticeable shift in style around 2016. That’s when the kids stepped up and made their voices heard. It’s been so fun watching them discover artists that get them excited about music.
