Behold, that rarest of pop animals: The five-minute song that actually feels too short. I’m not kidding — I was actually sort of pissed when State Broadcasters‘ “Trespassers” ended, because the song is just so goddamn lovely, I wanted it to go on all afternoon. The band’s new album, Ghosts We Must Carry, comes out September 17, a date I’m currently circling on my calendar. In the meantime, I’ll be playing “Trespassers” on repeat.
