Hey, you guys! How’s it going? I hope everyone’s enjoying their three-day weekend, so far. I know ye ole Weeknight ’80s Dance Party has been MIA the past several weeks and I have no real excuse other than I’ve been very busy and very lazy. So, to make it up to you, I figured I’d give you a special Weekend ’80s Dance Party mix to help you dance your cares away during the last (disgustingly hot) throes of summer.

This mix has no real theme, other than the songs are fun, great to dance to and the perfect soundtrack to your long weekend. I’ve been waiting for a while to unleash some of these mixes upon you and I figured sneaking them into a special weekend mix would be perfect. For example, the nine-minute version of Billy Ocean’s “Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car” and that “Tarzan Boy” remix — does the world need those? No. Well, actually, yes — yes it does.

Alright, enough talk. Let’s dance.

Carol Lynn Townes – Believe in the Beat (Special Dance Mix)
Indeep – Last Night a DJ Saved My Life (12″ Mix)
